¡Kingdom Death: Monster!

¡Porras fritas!
A hobyist is fickle. And as such, i am no more and no less than any one other. It's perfectly understandable to start a project motivated, and then, bit by bit, postpone it when new ideas pop to mind. And suddenly is november, and no new posts have been created since april!
Holy mackerel!
Kingdom Death: Monster
Mid-october saw a new arrival at home: this humongous box. My arm is there as to give some context to the size of the package... I already knew that it would be big and heavy, but i had to see it with my own eyes to fully understand it.

From beyond the Eye of Terror, they come... The Iron Warriors.

I recently finished painting my small warband of Chaos Space Marines. So i thought it would be a good moment to showcase a few of those models.

Now that the End Times are amongst us, and following after the nostalgia that characterizes this blog, I'm going to talk a bit 'bout Mordheim.

Recently, a series of posts about Epic:Armageddon caught my attention over the spanish blog ¡Cargad!. As i was trying to get some minis to start my own army, Carlos Gasco (from Soldados Viejos), a coworker of mine, gifted to me his old collection of Imperial Guard models.

So i decided to use one of the Thunderbolt Fighters to try the Steel Legion colour scheme. Shortly, more!

¡Nostalgia!
Welcome, readers, to a new year of Nosolohammer content! Now with updates in english!

Recently, a friend of mine decided to "dispose of some old stuff". Finding himself with an useless and dusty box for which he had no use for, other than taking up valuable storage space, he sent a quick and sincere question through our group chat. "Is there anyone that wants Space crusade?". After quickly killing all possible rivals, I offered myself to take it from his hands.

Just as the old "Altaya" fascicles i used to collect, Space Crusade is something of a gaming icon for me. I played dozens of games being the "alien player", cackling madly whenever my flimsy orks smashed the reinforced ceramite of the legionnaries... A few years later i discovered Warhammer 40.000, and the rest of the tale is history, plastic and paint.

I'm not making an analysis of the game... Many other blogs have done that already, and way better than i can. Just google, or, if you feel like it, click here or here. Yeah, those are in spanish.

Allright, after giving some reminiscence and feeling like the old gaming vet i am, let's get to it: my objective for 2015 is to fully paint Space Crusade.. And play at least one game!

Also, for free, blog refurbishing! 8-bit nostalgia!
